Q: "What is Truth? There are so many various religious sects and groups all claiming to have Truth, yet they differ widely". Answer: The real question is: "What shall we use as our measure of Truth - which of the multitude of 'sacred' writings, all professing to define 'Truth'? Shall we select the most popular copy in the world? Shall we insist on the version that we grew up with - or that which we have been introduced to? - the most soothing proclamation? - or which? All religions proclaim a 'super being in charge of nature, the world and our destiny'. Amongst such proclaimed 'super beings', none would have greater claim to all, than the Creator of all. Does such a Creator exist? In answer to this, let us consider: Look around you, the things you see; the chair that you sit on, the bed which you lie in, the shoes on your feet - these required intelligence to make - they did not just 'happen'. Now consider electricity, the paper, book or computer that you are reading from right now - these required even greater intelligence. Now look outside your window and behold the tree with a green leaf protruding from rock-hard wood, flowers according to their kind, birds, animals. These superior creations require far higher intelligence for their being than television or space shuttles. Why then do intelligent people claim that it simply 'happened', in an extended cycle of 'evolution'? If we can rise above accepting evolution and co-incidence as being the creative power of the wonders of nature, than we have to admit that, yes, there must of necessity be a Superior Intelligence with the Creative ability to produce even the human mind which is capable of creating the wonders of technology around us. Just as there are manuals for the proper maintenance of all the products of technology, so there should be a manual for the 'maintenance and proper use' of the Creator's prime creation - the human person. Just as it would be unthinkable for the producer of a product to issue it to the user without a proper manual which has to be strictly adhered to for proper usage and satisfaction, so it would be unthinkable that the Creator of mankind would not provide a similar manual with His product, for its guidance, welfare and protection. Such a manual should then surely also define 'True Religion', where 'religion' refers to 'Way of Life'. It should clearly spell out the "do's and dont's" for these 'intelligent machines'. Our search for Truth can now be restricted to finding such a manual which claims to have been authorised by the Creator of all. We can therefore eliminate from the list, all those claimant writings by mortal men or women, presenting themselves as 'god'. Also those referring to statues, animals or human-animals and the likes, as 'gods'. From our remaining shortlist, only ONE manual complies with the following credentials:
This manual is the Bible - more specifically the 'Old Testament' or Tanach. Wherever the New Testament refers to 'the Word of God' which provides the Directives for proper living, it infers and points to the Tanach. If we accept the Bible as the 'Word' or Manual of the Creator, then we can now turn to it for a definition of 'Truth'. Unfortunately, there are as many divided and contradictory claims of 'Truth', all extracted from the same Bible. Unlike the reading of other manuals, when it comes to the Bible, readers do not wish to accept what it states - they prefer to interpret it in a way that makes more sense to their liking. As an underlying golden thread throughout the Tanach, we are given a double-threaded measure for establishing Truth:

Thus, those that have the
Truth, will have the Law and the Testimony (which requires revelation).
Thus, Truth has 2 golden threads: the Law and the Testimony regarding the True Identity of the Living Creator God. The New Testament picks up this test of the Truth bearers in Rev 12:17 and 14:12. Rev 12:17 "Then the Dragon (Satan, refer v. 9) ... made war ... on all who obey God's Commandments and bear witness to YAHU'SHUAH." Thus, all who have the Truth. Rev. 14:12 "This is why there must be constancy in the saints, who keep the Commandments of God and Faith in YAHU'SHUAH." The true believers are identified once more by the same 2 credentials of Truth. That YAHU'SHUAH fulfilled the Testimony of being the One True God of Israel, is confirmed by the Angel in Rev. 19, when he confirms that those believers who are invited to "The Marriage Feast of the Lamb", are those (Rev. 19:10), "who have the Testimony of YAHU'SHUAH. (They are only to) worship God ... for the Testimony of YAHU'SHUAH (that He is the One Only True God) is the Spirit of Prophecy." - referring to Isa. 8:20 and all the Tanach Prophecies of the Coming Messiah Who would be God Himself (Isa. 9:5,6 etc). The TEUDAH really becomes a vital requirement of Truth when it comes to the controversial subject of the True Identity of YAHU'SHUAH as the Eternal Creator God, YHVH Himself! (Refer Library of studies on the True Identity of Messiah). So, in short, if these 2 factors are required for testing Truth, then it should leave no one in any doubts about what Truth really is:
It is important to note that the 2 texts which we have quoted a few paragraphs back (Rev 12:17 and 14:12), specify the 2 salient identifying criteria by which the overcoming True worshippers can be recognized, i.e. they keep the Commandments of God and worship the One True God of Israel. This does not exclude conforming Jewish believers - for they worship the One Only True God YHVH - they have simply been blinded to His Manifestation as Messiah - but is one and the self-same God, YHVH.
It speaks for itself
(without being judgmental) that the Creator can have no place or use for someone
in His Kingdom who rebels against His Law or His Authority - or those who, for
whatever reason unbeknown even to themselves, cannot grant Him the fullness of
His Greatness as the One True God of the Shemah Himself - with the same fervour
and excitement as that of a shouting, screaming Rock Star fan towards his/her

Who is God?
Q: "Interesting Web Site! "Who are you guys? What are your backgrounds?" Answer: Many people judge Truth by the Source that it comes from - by the credentials of those who proclaim it, by their human achievements, the position they hold in the congregation, etc etc.- in stead of by the only Source which is at our disposal, namely the Bible (of course, as led by the Spirit of God - but even that is a difficult criteria because all differ in their understanding, yet claim leading by the Spirit?) The Bible should be our main Guide - but yes, we do need the Spirit of God to reveal real Truth in the Scriptures to us. If the identity of the author is not clearly stated in the publications, then distrust often sets in with the Web surfer or reader. Yet, the four Gospels of the 'New Testament', hold no clues as to who the authors were! There is almost a complete absence even of the use of the personal pronoun ' I ' by the authors. The author of the Book of John merely refers to himself as "the disciple whom Messiah loved". In fact, the same applies to the very foundation of Scripture - the Torah (first 5 Books of the Bible). Would any believer think of doubting the Bible simply because some of the authors are anonymous? What a contrast this is to the epistles of Paul! He wrote 13 letters, and each one of them started with his own name! He used the personal pronoun “I, me, or my”, 949 times! In the twelfth chapter of 2 Corinthians, the big personal pronoun was used seven times in the sixth verse alone; 60 times in the same chapter of 21 verses! Paul has built himself the greatest following of all known authors of Scripture, yes, even to the extent of regarding him as more authoritative than God Himself - when it comes to Paul's declarations about the 'termination of the Law' as opposed to the Creator's and the Messiah's Proclamations of the eternal validity of His Law! (Ref. Matt. ch 5 and Ps. 119, specifically verse 152, 44, 89 etc). (For a Scripturally based evaluation of the life and writings of Paul, follow the link at the foot of this section).. It also seems that most religious orientated readers are searching for "shepherds" or "heroes" whom they can follow, as a pre-condition to accepting new or contrary tenets of professing Truth. Is this really what the honest seeker after Eternal Truth should pursue? Should it really matter, over and above personal inquisitiveness, who the publisher of Biblical knowledge is? Should not the Bible be the only foundation of consideration and evaluation? Unfortunately, negative personal inclinations, fear of turning against the majority with their traditional teaching, and the "smear campaigns" of the false "shepherds" to whom real Truth is a great threat of losing their "flocks" - are some of the many adverse factors which will prevent the majority from accepting the Truth. People are also greatly impressed by strong personalities who manage to draw much attention to their own qualities as a base of faith, and who can lead them in an exciting way. The author of BIBLE REVELATIONS, for this reason, and mainly, to avoid a following, prefers to be known as "the servant of YHVH" - Hebrew: OvadYah. OvadYah Avrahami has been a Bible student for the last 40 years. Confirmation of the Truth that is to be found in the many studies on this Web Site, is borne out by the fact that the Tenets of Truth which have been taught by the author for more than 40 years, and for which it's adherents were often cast out and cursed in the past, is today fast becoming "general" knowledge. The last few years have seen the culmination of an ever-growing tidal wave of serious individual Bible students the world over, who have come to "rediscover their Hebraic Roots". This Restoration Movement was exactly foretold for the End Times by the Prophet Daniel (Dan. 12:4 "But you Daniel, must keep these words secret and the Book sealed UNTIL the Time of the End. Many will wander this way and that - and Knowledge will go on increasing". This unfolding of the ancient secrets of the Bible, as this Web Site also endeavours to bring to its readers, has led to the Restoration of the tenets of the Original True Hebraic Faith by those faithful seekers after Truth. This Restoration, again, is in fulfilment of probably one of the most exciting Divine Miracle Events prophesied in the Bible for the Times that we are living in, just before the establishment of Divine Rule on earth, to replace the ever degrading 'rule of man'. OvadYah Avrahami certainly does not claim sole rights for instilling this universal awakening - it is a world harvest and there were many labourers who pioneered this Mass Return over the last few decades. These pioneers learnt not only from Scripture, but also from each other, though 'operating' mostly independently of each other. A good example of one of these many restorative Truths, is the subject of the Sacred Names of God, which was almost unknown 30 years ago, but for a 'few crazy individuals' (albeit spread in groups across the earth, not knowing of each other - there was no internet then!) BIBLE REVELATIONS shared in the publishing of this glorious Truth as pioneers in South Africa in the sixties, and sending thousands of printed tracts internationally. Today there are some 10 000 Internet Sites alone, and growing daily, which proclaim the Sacred Names! Churches know it, ministers use it, the media, books, journals, etc. Truth is literally flooding the earth at an ever increasing pace, just as with the technological revolution of our time. The sole leadership and honour though, in this Great Task of final Restoration, is imputed to Whom it belongs - the Great Sower of the Harvest - the wonderful Creator, God of Israel, who alone has the Power to open the eyes of the blind, and revive the minds of the deceived! In these days of constant marketing bombardment in all areas of our life, it should be comforting for readers to know that there are NO obligations connected to accepting the proclamations contained in this Web Site. Yet, to some, it would come as a great disappointment that there is NOTHING to join - and no self-interested, dominating personalities to follow and to hold up as "an example" to their friends. If what is presented, is not sufficient to lift the reader's spirit to dizzy heights of exaltation of the Almighty Creator, then the goal has been missed completely - the goal not just of BIBLE REVELATIONS, but, certainly, also of the Most High. The Scriptures have certainly not been given for the glorification of man (as has so commonly been the case in religious followings throughout time), but for the Glorification of the One Only True God - the Creator God "of Israel". It is interesting to note the Words of Messiah Himself when He was confronted by His opposers who questioned His credentials (Jo 7:14). "Not even His brothers, in fact, had faith in Him" (Jo 7:5). His reply was: "If anyone is prepared to do God's Will, he will know whether my teaching is from God or whether My doctrine is My own. When a man's doctrine is his own, he is hoping to get honour for himself" (Jo. 7:17,18). to: Q: "As we are discovering more and more Truth, it all seems to point to Judaism. Does that mean that we will have to convert to Judaism?" Answer: This question is being raised more and more amongst sincere Christian believers these days. The reason for this may be found in the amazing modern phenomenon, in which the Church of today is returning to its roots, that is, it's Hebrew Roots in the "Early Messianic Congregation"! This seems to be in fulfilment of the commendation by Jude, in Jude 3, for followers of the Messiah to return to the "Original True Faith which had been once and for all entrusted to the saints". The intriguing part comes when these individual study groups (or off-shoots from traditional Christianity), accept, practice, speak and think Jewishly - yet refuse to accept the Jewish Faith or to convert to it. Some see it as a positively detrimental step to take for these virtual practitioners of Judaism - even at "the cost of their salvation" most teachers of this sweeping world deluge of the 'Original Restored Faith' will claim ! Much of this confusion, of course, is the result of some 2000 years of retrogression, from what once was authentic Judaism, having proceeded through the portals of Christian theology (which grew out of the pagan customs to which the new 'converts' were traditionally exposed), and culminating in the almost anti-Semitic Christian theology which today still is predominant amongst the majority. If this sounds complicated, let us explain: What is so commonly referred to by Christians as "the early church", established by the Messiah 2000 years ago, is a total misnomer. In fact, this whole new modern trend of reverting to a Jewish-like 'original' Faith, has developed from the realisation by serious Christian Bible students, that Christianity has "grown" out of what was originally a division or a sect of Judaism - those who accepted the Jewish Messiah in Israel 2000 years ago. This Messiah, known to Christians as Jesus (YAHU'SHUAH in Hebrew), was born to the Jewish nation, from an Israelite woman, in a Jewish country, in fulfilment of Hebrew Prophets' predictions, as inspired by the God of Israel. This Messiah grew up in a traditionally Orthodox Jewish society and practiced, Himself, the Jewish religion and custom - and, contrary to what is being taught by most Christian religious leaders, He never foresaw or predicted a "change" away from this traditional Hebrew religion. What He did insist on, was a "return" to the "pure" precepts of what was, after all, the pattern of the "Heavenly" System which had been revealed to Moses and entrusted to him by God Himself, to deliver unto the Hebrew nation, and through them, unto the world. This restorative process which was set in motion by the Messiah 2000 years ago, is scripturally and prophetically referred to as "the Restoration of the fallen Tabernacle of David". Amos 9:11 "In that day (coming after the dispersion of Israel amongst the nations - verse 9) I (YHVH) will re-erect the fallen Tabernacle (Succah) of David, make good the gaps in it, restore it's ruins, and rebuild it as it was in the days of old .. so that they can conquer the remnant of Edom and all the nations that belonged to Me". The reasoning expressed in Acts 15:13 - 18, applies this Restoration to those "other nations" which God long before, had intended to enlist as "His people". "After that, I (YHVH) shall return and rebuild the fallen House of David. I shall rebuild it from it's ruins and restore it. Then the rest of mankind, all the other nations who are consecrated to My Name, will look for YHVH" (Acts 15: 16, 17). Are we not today witnessing the ultimate fulfilment of this restorative act of the Messiah - one of the final events in the string, before the setting up of His Kingdom in Jerusalem, in Israel, at His Return, which both Jews and Christians are awaiting? This indeed, is the Message which BIBLE REVELATIONS proclaim. Question is: Which religion will be the foundation of this Restored Kingdom - Christianity, Islam, Judaism or any other? The answer to this question should really be so elementary and logic - but for the animosity which has been amassed against this Jewish ancestral nation of the Messiah, through Christian theology and Muslim hatred. The question which those should consider who seek the answer whether to go "all the way" and convert to Judaism, or not, is: 1. Would God go to all the trouble of selecting a nation (Israel) to be "carriers of His Oracles" (Hebrews 5:12); punish them with international dispersion for 2000 years from their Land of Birth, Israel, because they failed to fully comply with His 'System' (Judaism), simply to do away with this System and replace it with something totally different (Christianity or Islam)? 2. If the major religions of the world (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) are so diametrically opposed as to lead to centuries of bloodletting wars and persecutions of one faith against the other, is it possible to expect that "in the Coming Kingdom of God", all these religions will persist, one next to the other? 3. If God was so insistent on the Israelites to fully comply with His 'System' as revealed to Moses and based on the Heavenly pattern, would He be less insistent on professing followers of His? Confusion also reigns because these "returning" Christians have been convinced by years of doctrinal brainwashing and traditional culture, that "Christianity" was initiated by the Messiah to "replace Judaism". The great Reform of the Middle Ages, pioneered by Luther, Calvin, etc., assisted to plant the expectation that Christianity would be purified until it became "the pure religion" which God intended. Islam similarly believe that they have a mandate from God (incidentally, recognised as the same God of the Jews) to enforce Islam on the whole world. Fact of the matter is that "the religion of God", as proclaimed by the Bible, is Judaism! - initiated by Him; revealed to Israel by Him, Divinely mandated by Him to Israel for proclamation of this Hebrew Faith to the entire world and insisted upon for faithful observance thereof by Him! The more Christianity becomes "purified", the more it becomes like Judaism! That Judaism itself needs some purification, no doubt. But never ever will such purification lead it to become anything remotely similar to Christianity! What then was the first Messianic Congregations of the First Century like? Please imagine yourself, in those days, a follower of the Jewish Messiah of Israel:
And if it is different, will you persist in continuing in the "contrary" system because your religious leader tells you so; or because the majority think it is correct that you do? Or will you start following the example of the Master? And if that brings you more to becoming like Him, a Jew - will you persist in defending that which is totally contrary to His original System? - and refuse to identify with that which He was intimately part of, not withstanding the fact that He was not recognised by them as such - like unto this day? In Acts 10:1-2 we find mention of the word "Gentile" as the author introduces us to a man named Cornelius. Cornelius was a centurion in the Italian Regiment, a righteous man, God fearing - a believer in the God of Israel. But he was a Gentile The Church has overlooked Cornelius: Where the churches of today have often missed the mark, is that they have failed to understand what the implications were on the "early" Gentile Messianic Believers. They were semi-proselytes (converts to the Faith of Israel - grafted in through faith and immersion by baptism in a "mikveh" or Jewish ritual bath pool). The males were uncircumcised and had to become circumcised. History teaches us that they accepted the "Yoke of the Kingdom" and ascribed belief in the Torah (the Jewish Scriptures). They believed only in the God of Israel as the One only true God. Lastly, they had undergone ritual immersion in a Mikveh. These were the minimum requirements for a Gentile to be recognized as having turned from idols to serve the living God, both during and after the days of Messiah! Our quoted portion of Scripture above, referring to the fulfilment of the Restoration of the Original True Faith, lays some further requirements on such "Jewish Messianic converts": Acts 15:19 - 21, "... instead of making things more difficult for Gentiles who turn to God (those who accepted Messiah in this case), we send them a letter telling them merely to abstain from anything polluted by idols (the flesh of animals slain for pagan sacrifice), from fornication, from the meat of strangled animals and from (eating) blood" as provided against by Jewish Kosher slaughtering to this day). These requirements were part of a larger corpus of Jewish Laws. It seems from the N.T. Scriptures, that the early Messianic religious leaders had much debate and inconclusive decision-making regarding which of all the Jewish Customs to expect Gentile Converts to adhere to. As if God had a different System for Jews and converts to the Jewish Faith! It should be logic that, when you emigrate to a new country, you fall in totally and comply with all the Laws and Regulations of that society, or you are out - no question! Why should it be different for the Kingdom of God? In Acts 15 we read about the Jerusalem Council
which was occupied with the This confusion regarding the obligation on Gentile believers is nothing strange considering the traditional Jewish background of the "apostles" of the Messiah, who had to go out and proclaim a Jewish Messiah and a Jewish religion to the world out there - a world which was, generally, steeped in paganism. This was a tall order! It required a Divine revelation to Peter, to convince them that they had to go out and proclaim this Jewish Messiah to a world which, much like today, was not very receptive to the Jewish religion, Custom and Law. Prior to his encounter with Cornelius, Peter believed that God was partial to Jews (Shammai, a leading Rabbi who believed Gentiles were unworthy of the world to come, had poisoned Israel with his anti-Gentile teachings). Peter's vision on the roof top in Joppa with the vision of unclean animals and his experience with Cornelius changed his mind forever. Shammai was wrong and God's vision to Peter proved it. Peter now understood that all people were acceptable to the God of Israel, if they "feared Him" and "worked righteousness." Careful examination will show that not only had the Gentiles previously been receiving the teaching (Torah) from Hebraic Scriptures, but they also had received "the gift of the Holy Spirit", as had the Jewish crowd of 3000 on the Day of Pentecost. This was something new for Gentiles! Remember, Cornelius had for some time accepted the God of Israel and the Hebrew Bible, but now he also received the "Holy Spirit." Yet, it was expected of them to comply specifically with selected, main tenets of the Jewish Faith! From this time on, the Jewish leaders would be faced with an influx of Gentiles who would be drawn to the Jewish Message that the Kingdom of Heaven was arriving, as preached by Messiah and His followers. Upon accepting this Message, they had no alternative but to become a part of the Jewish Messianic community of the day. There were no 'Christians' to join - not until 300 years later! The receiving of the Spirit upon the Gentiles led to the question that occupied the Jerusalem council in 50 A.D. They needed to determine what these pagan Gentiles (who would be coming into the faith) needed to do in order to become part of the community of Jewish followers of the Messiah. Acts 15:1 tells us that some thought that these Gentiles needed to be circumcised before they could become part of the community. In other words, they needed to convert to Judaism as was the standard procedure up till then. After all, that was the normal process before the Cornelius event in Acts 10. The Jerusalem council concluded in Acts 15:23-29 that pagan Gentiles did not need to make a full conversion to Judaism or circumcision any longer! Orthodox Jewish tradition, even to this day, teach that Gentiles only need to keep the Noahite Laws (seven of the Ten Commandments) and not the Mosaic Law (613 Laws). However, full converts to Judaism are obliged to keep all the Laws! There should not be any doubt with sincere believers as to what the Almighty expects of His followers - He has One Set of Rules only and he certainly requires full compliance thereof. It should also be evident that the sliding away from True Judaism, even by this first Jewish Messianic Congregation, under the directives of their Jewish Messianic leaders (Paul and the apostles), started the gradual landslide which would, three centuries later be aggravated by the "pagan take-over" of the misguided majority of the Jewish Messianic Congregation, when the pagan convert, Constantine the Great, after a purported spiritual conversion, accepted what had by that time become a hybrid Messianic religion, and he made of it a State religion under the Roman Empire. Several subsequent religious Councils, after much debate, issued Decrees which totally and unrecognisably changed that which was left of the originally Jewish Messianic Religion - and behold: Christianity was born! It must be emphasised however, that throughout history, there always was a remnant, which clung to Jewish Orthodox custom and teaching - the True Messianic Jewish remnant. We like to believe that BIBLE REVELATIONS proclaim the eternal Tenets of this Original True Faith of YHVH, the Creator God of Israel. The matter of conversion to Judaism remains an individual personal decision.

Answer: You are correct - Messianic Judaism is the True way. But please do not be deceived. 90% of Messianic Judaism is not Messianic Judaism, but Messianic Christianity claiming to be Judaism. The following list will define the differences? Please understand also, that there is
a lot of 'cross-breeding' in the various groups and that few groups will be found to comply
exclusively with all the qualities of either side. The following list could assist in
evaluating a particular group, by how far it is tending in either direction. It is also
recommended that the left side of this list be used as an ultimate target, which, if reached, should
qualify one as a True restorer and follower of the One True Original Hebraic Bible Faith.
It may be apt at this point to note the comment in Rev. 2:9 "I know ... the slanderous accusations that have been made (against who?) by the people who profess to be Jews but are really members of the synagogue of Satan." One does not have to search deep into the writings and claims of those who qualify according to the 2nd column above, to note the audacious accusations against those who are truly recognized as Jews. These accusations claim Jews to have been rejected by God; that Jews have changed the Laws of God; that they serve God in vain, because they do not recognize the Messiah (these accusers refuse to accept the fact that God blinded Jews to Messiah - Rom.11:25) etc etc etc Are these not slanderous accusations against the nation whom God has never yet. neither ever will reject? They then claim to be true Israel - Jews themselves (which is simply another version of Christian Replacement theology). Do they truly qualify according to the above tabular requirements? And regarding identifying with the 'synagogue of Satan', is it not Satan who is the main accuser of God's people, of Judaism, and of the Torah? Gen. 12:3 "I will bless those who bless you (Avraham's descendants, in context, Israel, Judah - broadly all mankind), and curse those who curse you". As a footnote to those ever zealous accusers of Jews and rejecters of Rabbis and Rabbinic authority, who justify themselves by saying that they do indeed love and bless Jews while they vehemently reject Judaism and 'Rabbinism' and what it entails - please note: - the original Hebrew text uses two different Hebrew words in the above text, both translated as 'curse' in most popular Bible versions. The popular verbal version of this Divine Statement, which most of us use, almost exclusively, renders 'curse' in both instances also. A review of the actual Hebrew original will show how this Divine admonition has been watered down, in that way becoming almost a 'license' to 'bad mouth Jews - "as long as a curse is not pronounced"! The word selection in the original Hebrew, holds a serious reprimand for these accusers: the first, meaning - 'curse' indeed - as in persecute; the second, 'mekalal' meaning: 'revile, speak lightly, despise'. Thus, God will curse those who speak lightly of Judah, or who bad-mouth Jews. The same root word kalal is used in Gen 16:4 where it is translated 'despise', viz. Hagar despised Sarah after she (Hagar) conceived by Avraham, Sarah's husband. After all, we are also reprimanded from not denouncing even Satan (Jude v. 9). This is a fearful contemplation and an exercise which should be carefully undertaken by every Messianic believer to establish which side they really are on!
